We’re proud to welcome 14th star Brewing to NYC!
Join us on January 30th when we host the 14th star team as they launch their suds in the big apple. We’ll have 5 beers on tap and the crew will be on hand to tip a few back and nerd it up with us.
“14th star brewing is is a veteran-owned Vermont craft brewery on a mission to brew world-class beer while enriching their community”.
With that in mind, we will be donating $1 for every 14th star beer poured. We have picked two veteran-related charities for you to choose from, simply order your beer and pick the charity you want us to donate to on your behalf. It’s not often you get to drink beer and help change people’s lives for the better simultaneously so please support us and help us pack the place out!
About the brewery:
“The business plan for 14th Star Brewery was originally drafted on the back of a notebook by Steve Gagner while serving our country on the battlefields of Afghanistan.
Upon returning home to Vermont from deployment our founders, Steve and his best friend and fellow soldier Matt Kehaya, worked to refine their plans to make their dream of 14th Star Brewing Company a reality in 2012
Matt and Steve first opened the doors to 14th Star Brewing Co in 2012 at 41 Lower Newton Street in St. Albans, brewing beer on a 3.5 bbl pilot brewhouse they hand-built using repurposed retrofitted maple sap collection tanks. For the first two years, the brewery operated selling bottles and growler fills out of the small tasting room. By 2014 the demand for more 14th Star beer was high, and with a growing staff, 14th Star was looking for a new home”.
In November of 2014, we moved from our 3.5 barrel brewhouse on Lower Newton Street to our current 30 barrel Brewery and Taproom at 133 North Main Street where we are projected to produce over 8,000 barrels of craft beer this year alone.
At 14th Star, our commitment to our community is always at the forefront of whatever we do. Our goal is to be outstanding corporate citizens and consistently produce quality products for our consumers.”
“Great beer is what we produce, community is what we build.”
